We have got an exciting opportunity for IT Support Officer – L2 to be part of our team at Information Technology Services (ITS) in our Sydney CBD (Sussex Street) office. Key responsibilities desktop support service to the client, reliable and efficient backup service for the client’s workgroup areas, advice to the client on hardware, operating systems and software requirements, advice and assistance to staff in the installation, configuration, and use of computer soft-ware, advice and troubleshooting assistance in diagnosing hardware faults and organises remedial action to be undertaken, attending to jobs logged on the service desk system for support of desktops and other matters for the client, setting up new equipment for the client, provide advice with regard to technical issues regarding efficient, secure storage of corporate data. As the successful candidate you will ideally have relevant professional qualifications and/or extensive experience, ability to independently identify and analyse client needs and problems and articulate solutions appropriate to the client’s role and level of technical understanding, capacity to manage systems, projects and where appropriate people effectively, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly the ability to negotiate and influence, ability to develop collaborative relationships with colleagues and client groups, organisational, time management and planning abilities, demonstrated research skills, relevant computer skills and knowledge of a range of common office software packages.
