IT Support Malek Fahd Islamic School location Sydney.

Malek Fahd Islamic School is a Kindergarten to Year 12 Muslim School with an enrolment of around 2800 students across three campuses Greenacre, Beaumont Hills and Hoxton Park. This position is open to all faiths.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to start their IT career in the education sector.  You will have an opportunity to learn new technologies while providing end to end support across three campuses (Greenacre, Hoxton Park, Beaumont Hills). The internal IT team consist of five members and you will be reporting to the IT Infrastructure manager who will provide the support you need to ensure you succeed. The successful applicant will demonstrate a capacity to excel within the philosophy of education in our Islamic school.

About the role requires you to be able to travel between campuses as needed providing level 1 support and anything else that may come up. We are looking for someone who enjoys customer service and able to get your hands dirty if required. You will need to possess excellent communication skills, multi-tasking skills, and ability to take ownership of tasks assigned to you. The school has zero tolerance of child abuse. You will be required to obtain working with children check (employment).

Your key responsibilities will include personal attributes excellent communication skills, reliable, customer-service focused, attention to details, ability to work independently.

Technical skills Graduation Degree preferred. Relevant industry certifications (A+ Certification, ITIL). Wireless experience. Familiar with school database system (Sentral). Familiar with photocopiers. Experience with Microsoft desktop operating systems. Experience supporting mobile devices (Apple, Samsung).

Experience providing support with various network equipment and peripherals. Experience with online learning systems. Office 365 Administration. Ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies. Current driver’s license and reliable transport. Your prior experience in a similar role will be beneficial.
