About the Opportunity MCM (Melbourne City Mission) is a leading community services organisation that innovatively works alongside thousands of Victorians and their communities to overcome barriers experienced through Homelessness, Early Years, Disability, Palliative care, Early Childhood Intervention Services and Education.

Working closely with the IT Service Desk Team Leader and IT Infrastructure Manager, this role supports staff and the clients of MCM through the delivery of client focused fit for purpose systems and processes, aligned service level agreements. All IT services are underpinned by ITIL and conform to MCM frameworks.

The IT Service Desk Officer position is responsible for providing professional and efficient support to all IT Systems utilised by both employee’s and students at Hester Hornbook Academy. As well as assisting with IT administrative tasks and monitoring activities. MCM currently operates across a range of location in metropolitan Melbourne. This role will be supporting staff and clients at all MCM location. Travel between offices will be required at times.

About you we are looking for someone who can providing onsite and remote network, desktop, and telecommunications support to all MCM employees, clients and IT equipment. Responding to and resolving IT tasks within the IT Service Level Agreement Policy. Proactively monitoring system resources, performance, security, and integrity and identifying and resolving (or escalating as appropriate) emerging issues.

Supporting the management, configuration, and the use of SCCM and Intune for MCM including building and maintaining the SOE environment to support MCM staff and clients. Supporting the use and configuration of MCM’s IT Service Management platform, including the management of all IT tasks to current ITIL standards – logging and responding to incidents, change, problem and continuous improvement.

Essential demonstrated experience in system management and administration of IT systems including but not limited to, SCCM; Intune; SOE maintenance/modification/build; server patching; SDS; Office 365 and Service Now. Demonstrated experience working in a hybrid application and infrastructure environment, including onsite, SaaS and laaS.

Effective problem solving, proven flexibility and adaptability to respond and adjust to change in work demands. Effective organisation skills to manage priorities and meet changing work demands. Attention to detail and ability to accurately record service delivery, incident resolution and reporting. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.

Screening Criteria National Police check. Working with Children check and NDIS Worker Screening check or ability to obtain. Valid Victorian Drivers licence. Right to Work in Australia. Up to date with COVID-19 Vaccinations or valid medical exemption.
