IT Manager Empire Group location Brisbane.
Our client is one of Australia’s leading law firms with offices all across the Eastern Seaboard. They pride themselves on providing innovative, first class advice to their clients. As part of their IT transformation project, an opportunity for an IT Manager to oversee their service delivery function has become available.
The role lead and supervise the Service Delivery team, ensuring that effective communication, customer service, cross unit collaboration and teamwork is a high priority and performance is managed. Organise, schedule and implement IT tasks, projects and infrastructure to ensure Information Technology Services meets the goals set out in the organisation’s Strategic Plan.
Day to day management of the End User team, dealing with any operational and staff issues, liaison with other team members and escalation to Head of Infrastructure and Operations as necessary. Implementation of security policies and practices to ensure processes and procedures reflect industry standards.
Skills/Experience proven technical leadership and management ability within an IT environment, including the allocation of responsibilities, review of performance, training and development of staff and development or oversight of program procedures and quality control systems.
High level knowledge of the issues involved in the development, maintenance and management of information systems, infrastructure and services. Demonstrated ability to develop business plans and strategies to support organisational strategy and implementation of projects. Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to consult with a range of stakeholders to achieve common goals and establish strong professional relationships.
