IT Helpdesk Officer Hays Information Technology location Sydney, Parramatta and Western Suburbs. IT Helpdesk in vibrant government team in Cronulla region of Sydney 6 month contract competitive hourly rate. Your new company this federal government organisation is currently seeking a pro-active, solution focused level 1 Helpdesk Officer to join the ICT team on a 6 month contract. This Government organisation is based in the Cronulla Region of Sydney and offers employers on site parking. You will be joining a vibrant and friendly team and have the opportunity to engage in staff activities that are held throughout the year. Your new role as helpdesk officer you will support hundreds of users with level 1/2 technical issues, including Desktop. You will be responsible for answering the phone and being that first point of contact providing top tier customer service. You will work in a small team, delivering IT support to end users, which may include Windows 7/10, Active Directory and password resets, Outlook, Skype for business and Exchange. You will be troubleshooting Hardware and Software. What you'll need to succeed to be a fit for this role you will have minimum 2 years recent experience in a level 1 helpdesk role, have excellent customer service, experience in microsoft technologies - active directory, windows operating systems, an interest in supporting users with bespoke applications and software, excellent communication skills and confident to speak to stakeholders at all levels, a pro-active, solution focused, and customer centric work approach, previous experience working in a government environment would be advantageous, as this is a federal government agency, you must be an australian citizen to apply, candidates with a baseline or nv1 security clearance will be highly regarded.
