IT Helpdesk Officer Hays Information Technology location Melbourne, Eastern Suburbs. 3-month contract with opportunity for extension with government organisation during exciting time of growth. Your new company my client, a government organisation based in the eastern suburbs is looking for someone to join their team for a 3-month contract, assisting with a hardware roll-out project. Having recently received over $2 million in hardware, whilst also going through a cloud migration project. Your new role this government organisation is looking for someone to join their team on a 3-month contract to assist in this exciting time, focusing primarily on the hardware deployment. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for users with technical issues including, but not limited to desktop and mobility, hardware, network and local login accounts, emailing and ms suite, maintain and support the it help desk system, ensuring all user issues are logged and requests are auctioned, install and configure pcs, laptops, printers and ios devices as required, what you'll need to succeed. In order to be a successful applicant for this role you will need qualification or experience in computer science, it or related discipline, current drivers licence, significant experience in an it helpdesk environment, preferably public sector, advanced knowledge of o365, windows server, desktop operating systems and mobile operating systems proven ability to build relationships and effectively engage with stakeholders.
