Description

The Indigenous Skills and Employment Program (ISEP) supports First Nations people to strengthen their digital, language, literacy, numeracy, and job‑readiness skills. We are looking for an ISEP Employment Support Officer who is passionate about adult learning, community development, and supporting people to achieve their goals.

You will work closely with a Travelling Workplace Trainer and the Training Team Leader to help participants build confidence, skills, and pathways into employment. You will also undertake study in training delivery and gradually support the delivery of training programs.

Key Responsibilities

Support participants with learning and employment goals.
Work with a lead trainer to deliver LLND and digital skills training.
Assist with LLN assessments, enrolments, and student records.
Mentor and coach learners in community, including when the trainer is away.
Provide admin support, reporting, and follow‑up.
Build strong relationships with community leaders, employers, and stakeholders.
Undertake study in training delivery as part of the role.

Effective interpersonal skills, with communication that adapts to different learning needs.
Hold TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
