Our client our client is a large investment fund with investments spanning Unlisted Infrastructure, Real Estate, Listed Equities and Debt.  Despite the uncertain economic climate, the Real Estate Investment team leverages strong year on year growth enabling them to welcome an additional Analyst to the Melbourne team.

The opportunity joining a nimble, highly collaborative and innovative team, the Analyst will participate in a raft activities including deal origination, transaction execution, research, investment strategy and portfolio management. You will assume ownership of portfolio models encapsulating direct and in-direct investments across core real estate, real estate sub-sectors and student accommodation, globally. You will also prepare forecasts, indicative valuations, analyse investment performance and undertake stress testing of investment returns.

Required skills & experience we are seeking a curious, collaborative and creative applicant with sound numerical skills and commercial acumen.  A relevant tertiary degree coupled with approximately 1-3 years modelling and/or valuation experience will be required as will  demonstrated financial modelling expertise and a keen interest in un-listed investment.  Previous exposure to real estate is not required.
