Investment Analyst Impact Investment Partners location Melbourne.
Impact Investment Partners (Impact IP) is a specialist infrastructure investment manager that applies social impact principles to large-scale commercial investments. We manage the newly formed Indigenous Infrastructure Investment Fund (IIIF). The IIIF invests in infrastructure assets that deliver positive benefits to Indigenous communities as measured by the ISER Index. This is a fast-paced role, in a dynamic environment which is collaborative and socially aligned, therefore a team based approach and ability to adapt and deal with ambiguity is required.
Responsibilities assist in transactions, from preparation of proposals, collating information, preparing presentations and reports to conducting in-depth financial analysis. Providing robust qualitative and quantitative financial analysis and modelling to support informed decision making. Communicate qualitative and financial analysis clearly in written and verbal presentations and investment papers.
Supporting due diligence and project development. Assist with monitoring and analysis of financial and social performance of operating assets. Supporting Impact IP’s executives in other areas of investment management from time to time, as required.
Experience and skills required an alignment to Impact IP’s goals to deliver positive Indigenous economic outcomes and/or social impacts. A desire to inspire innovation and working in a small and growing start-up environment. Strong work ethic and sense of accountability, with demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and working independently. Strong attention to detail, capable of interrogating data and financial outcomes in a commercial context
Being able to demonstrate proactive engagement with stakeholders to achieve outcomes. An undergraduate and/or post grad qualification in business, commerce, law, economics, accounting or engineering along with a strong background in financial modelling. A minimum of two years’ work experience with suitable experience. Flexible working arrangement will be considered for the right candidate.
