Auckland, Permanent, Full Time, Police Employee, Band C, Salary Range $50,633.00 (Higher Salary may be negotiable).

Intelligence Support Officers contribute to prevention of crime and disruption of criminal activity through providing a range of specialist support services. For example, producing association charts, conducting specialised vetting checks, researching and collating information, producing operational briefing documents, contributing to intelligence products, and providing support to intelligence analysts.

Skills - you will be able to collect, analyse and disseminate information appropriately to assist decision-makers. Contribute to intelligence products and processes to assist decision-makers. Develop and maintain a wide range of positive relationships (internal and external). Research, collect and conduct preliminary analysis to identify and highlight any key emerging trends/issues/risks. Provide ongoing support to your team and have a strong team focus.

Special requirements to apply for this role you must be a NZ citizen or permanent resident. You must be able to obtain Top Secret Clearance. Applicants will be required to demonstrate intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint by prior certification (e.g. Microsoft Office Specialist) or by passing a skills test.

In the event of operational emergencies, on short notice applicants may be required to work outside normal business hours, Travel domestically.
