About the Opportunity

We’re seeking multiple ILS Technical Officers at various levels to join our Engineering Department. In this role, you’ll provide essential technical support to ensure the effective planning, implementation, and monitoring of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) products and activities. You’ll be responsible for maintaining regular ILS product reports and collaborating across departments to gather key data. You’ll also liaise with external customers to support the processing of maintenance requests.

Responsibilities

Support the development and implementation of ILS products and processes
Perform maintenance tasks and prepare technical documentation
Use CMMS tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for reporting and analysis
Apply knowledge of sustainment lifecycles, engineering standards, and configuration management
Collaborate across teams and with external stakeholders to meet project goals
Manage time effectively and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
About you

Hold an Advanced Trade Certificate or Advanced Diploma in Engineering or a relevant field
Have experience in complex project environments, ideally in maintenance, shipbuilding or heavy industry
Show strong attention to detail and confidence in reviewing technical information
Prepare and maintain reports using Microsoft Office
Demonstrate solid knowledge of design, operation and maintenance, with the ability to work within engineering standards
Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
