ICT Support Analyst Skopia Consulting location Sydney.

Due to recent growth our client is looking to increase its internal IT support team. You will be working as the first point of contact providing desktop support to the head office and remote support to the construction sites. You will be working within a small team who share the same passion for IT with many years of experience, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn and be mentored by a driven manager who wants to see you excel.

Key requirements exceptional Customer Service. Excellent phone manner and client relationship building. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. Working knowledge of Windows ( 7, 10 / Office 365 / Desktops / Laptops / Tablets / Mobile Phones. Strong analytical skills with the ability to think outside the box. Good understanding of basic TCP/IP protocol and basic network troubleshooting skills. Passion for IT and growing technology changes.

Responsibilities Include setup of computer systems for new users and provide instructions on how to access the company systems including, email, desktop applications, accounting and construction systems. Support users’ mobile communications devices including mobile phones, smart phones and tablets. Providing high-quality first and second level technical support for Head office and remote site offices.

Monitoring and responding quickly and effectively to requests received through the ICT Ticketing system. Ensure all end-user equipment is kept up to date on the ICT Asset Database. Inspecting and performing minor repairs and liaising with external vendors for the repairs to IT equipment as needed.

Assisting in system upgrades, installing, integrating, customising, configuring and testing new systems and hardware, and resolving configuration conflicts and errors. Excellent Communication skills are essential to be successful in this position, both verbal and written.

The following is desirable

tertiary qualifications in Information Technology (or equivalent industry certification). Relevant experience in an IT support role involving frequent, direct contact with colleagues. Experience working in an Office 365 environment enhancing collaboration and productivity using these tools. Experience with a variety of IT equipment, predominantly Microsoft applications.
