About the role working closely with the ICT Service Desk Team Leader, this role supports staff and the business of MCM through the delivery of client-focused fit-for-purpose systems and processes, underpinned by Service Level Agreements and a Service Catalogue. All ICT services are underpinned by ITIL and conform to the MCM Project Management framework. The Service Desk Officer Level 1 position is responsible for providing professional and efficient support to all ICT Systems and employees at MCM and the Hester Hornbrook Academy, as well as assisting with ICT administrative tasks and monitoring activities.

Duties include but are not limited to provide network, desktop and telecommunications support to all MCM employees, MCM ICT Equipment and MCM Sites. Ensure all ICT Tasks are responded to and resolved within the ICT SLA Policy. Assist with the creation and maintenance of ICT KBA’s. Performing the ICT Morning Check and actioning the AD Azure Risk Report. Assist with ICT projects as directed by the ICT Service Desk Team Leader.

Skills & experience include but are not limited to demonstrated 1st Level experience in supporting Desktop, Server, Network and Telephony systems. Demonstrated experience working in a hybrid Application and Infrastructure environment, a mixture of on premise, SaaS and IaaS. Excellent communication skills, ability to work within a team and communicate at all levels.

Desirable Skype for Business, Microsoft Azure Platform, Papercut Find Me Printing, SCCM, ServiceNow.
