ICT Service Desk Analyst Hato Hone St John location Auckland. $65,000 - $73,000.

Join our ICT Service Desk and provide national support and service to the business on a 4 day on 4 day off roster, (will include nights, weekends and public holidays) 41.5 hours per week, based from our offices in Mount Wellington - Auckland.

Hato Hone St John is at the front-line of medical response, providing Ambulance Services throughout New Zealand. We're also part of a much broader picture of health care, through our provision of first aid training, event medical services, AEDs (defibrillators), first aid kits and supplies, medical alarms, youth groups and a wide range of community programmes.

The ICT Service Desk is a fast-paced environment and plays a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our workforce in locations throughout NZ. The ICT Service Desk Analyst is responsible for providing first-level incident, log-in and service request support to corporate and frontline staff members (for hardware and software) within specified time frames.

Duties include monitoring SCOM alert for network or application abnormalities. Managing Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) & Electronic Patient Report Form (EPRF) devices i.e enrolment to ambulance vehicles. Managing mobile phone and vehicle phone applications, i.e troubleshooting application issues, configuration and hardware support.

Managing Vehicle radio equipment and escalating radio network issues to the appropriate support team. Assist with 111 call centre applications such as CAD (Computer Aided Despatch), telephony system, Citrix and radio communications. Managing case tickets and emails - escalating to the appropriate support team. Undertaking move/add/change activities. Controlling and administering hardware and operating software configurations. Liaising with 3rd party vendors for planned change or outages.

You will work rostered shifts comprising 12 hours on a 4 days on 4 days off basis. We operate a 24/7 service so you will need to be prepared to work any shifts within this period. There is occasional travel to onsite locations for hands-on support. Salary dependent on experience 65-73K p.a. We have two vacancies available.

To be successful in this role you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and / or at least 3 years experience related to the role. An ICT background that includes confidence in PC hardware maintenance, all desk top devices and operating systems plus good grasp of Windows operating systems and applications.

Must be experienced with Active Directory. An aptitude for troubleshooting. Ability to prioritise workload when dealing with major incidents. Team player (supporting other team members with workload or shift cover). Good time management - can manage breaks and assigned workload. Listening skills, can understand user-end requirements and displays empathy over the phone.
