About the role:

Hours

Saturday 6:00am to 6:00pm
Sunday 6:00am to 6:00pm
Monday 6:00am to 6:00pm
Every 6 weeks you will work on a Friday from 6:00am to 6:00pm.

We are seeking a qualified Electrician at our Huntingwood manufacturing plant. This role will report directly to the Maintenance Reliability Coordinator and will be responsible for repairs and maintenance to high volume food manufacturing and packaging equipment. You will be joining a hardworking team that are committed to the focus on the continual growth of the business, which services the manufacturing industry.

This is a perfect role for someone who thrives on challenges and can provide practical solutions to complex problems.

What your day looks like:

Carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance on all machinery and conveyors.
Working in compliance with quality and safety systems
Recording maintenance carried out and corrective work in the CMMS
Trouble shooting on varied high-speed manufacturing equipment

About You

The Ingredients for Success:

Proficient in performing diagnostics, fault finding and support for breakdowns and start ups
Holds recognised electrical trade qualifications and an A-class electrical license is essential.
Ability to maintain and repair high speed packaging and processing equipment
Work afternoon shift (2:45pm until 11pm ) with minimal supervision.
Apply OH&S practices including LOTO, risk assessments and PPE
Use PLC knowledge (preferably Allen Bradley)
