Human Resources Assistant New Zealand Police location Wellington.
Based at Police National Headquarters. Salary starting at $50.633,00. Police Employee. Multiple positions available, 6-month Fixed Term.
As an HR Assistant, you will demonstrate a high level of competence in the performance of all HR administrative duties. In addition, you will possess well developed interpersonal skills, strong communication skills and be able to provide excellent service to our customers and stakeholders. Your ability to be discrete in relation to confidential matters and the use of your initiative to solve complex tasks will be necessary for success in this role. We offer a great team and professional working environment. This position is in the Wellington Hub who work closely with their Auckland equivalent. Key accountabilities administration and customer service experience. Be an expert at time management and prioritizing. Demonstrate initiative and accountability. Have a passion for collaborating and learning. Be positive and enthusiastic.
Exposure to working with and interpreting collective agreements and policy. An ability to problem solve and challenge the status quo. Demonstrate proficient keyboard skills and experience in Microsoft Office application, including Word, Excel and Outlook. A tertiary qualification is preferred but not essential.
