About the role literacy Aotearoa is looking for a highly motivated Human Resource and Office Administrator to join our National Office team in a full-time position (40 hours per week). The Human Resource and Office Administrator will work closely with the Finance Manager and assist with completing Human Resource requests, payroll processing and general office activities as required.

Skills and experience to be successful in this role you will need to be adaptable and well organised to thrive in a varied work and team environment.

You will also bring a commitment to the kaupapa to honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Experience of working with payroll software and knowledge of payroll processes and systems (knowledge of Employment Hero would be an advantage). Knowledge of Human Resource processes with on boarding and off-boarding employees. The ability to maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring accessibility to authorised personnel. Experience in using Microsoft Office 365 (SharePoint, Outlook, Excel), Zoom, and online learning platforms.
