Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality & Training (HSEQT) Coordinator – Barrow Island
FIFO from Forrestfield or other approved locations in Western Australia
Roster: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
About the Role -
Are you passionate about driving safety excellence and continuous improvement in high-risk environments? We’re seeking a dedicated HSEQT Coordinator to join our Shore Base Business Unit on Barrow Island. This pivotal role supports our operations in partnership with Chevron, ensuring the highest standards in health, safety, environment, quality, and training.
You’ll work back-to-back with an existing HSEQT resource, providing visible leadership and expert guidance to frontline teams. Your mission: to foster a safety-obsessed culture and deliver an incident-free workplace.
Key Responsibilities and Duties -
Lead and coordinate all HSEQT activities across the site, including audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific HSEQT procedures aligned with Toll Group standards and Chevron requirements.
Deliver engaging training and mentoring programs to enhance safety leadership and operational excellence.
Champion Toll’s Critical Risk Management processes and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 4801, and 14001 standards.
Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Promote a proactive safety culture through initiatives, communication, and leadership engagement.
What you’ll bring and need to succeed -
Proven experience in a similar HSEQT role, ideally within oil & gas, transport, or resource sectors.
Strong understanding of integrated management systems and relevant legislation.
Experience in safety leadership training and cultural change initiatives.
Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills.
Internal auditing experience and proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools.
Knowledge of supply base operations including dangerous goods, warehousing, and transport.
