Introducing Level Plumbing has been providing Canberra and surrounds with high-quality plumbing services for more than 20 years. A member of the Master Plumbers Association, we are proud to be a locally owned company, operating out of Fyshwick and employing around 120 staff.

Explore the opportunity we are seeking a HR Manager to join our team. This role requires experience across the entire employee life cycle, blending hands-on operational tasks with strategic HR.

Your primary responsibilities include leading a small team of HR professionals in the day to day delivery of human resource services to employees across a range of HR matters and employee related issues; and developing and implementing HR strategies, initiatives, and practices that positively impact culture, engagement, and performance.

You are also responsible for overseeing compensation and employee benefits. Talent management processes; and compliance, industrial relations & people risk

Our Wish list we need someone who has the ability to influence at a strategic level, whilst also being willing to work hands-on from an operational perspective. Ideally, you will have 3+ years experience as a HR Manager in a private sector organisation of a similar size (around 130 employees). A strong working knowledge of Australian employment law;.

Highly developed interpersonal, coaching, negotiation and consultative skills. Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related discipline. A proven track record of implementing positive change through exceptional collaboration and a hands-on approach to your work; and Demonstrated experience developing and working with sustainable HR systems and processes.

You’ll be well versed in all dimensions and facets of the human resources function including HR strategy. Organisational development. Performance management. Recruitment. Employee relations; and Workforce planning.
