Hotel Receptionist Waitakere Resort and Spa location Auckland.

Waitakere Resort & Spa is looking for an experienced hospitality professional to fill a Receptionist role at the hotel. Waitakere Resort & Spa is a locally owned boutique hotel in the Waitakere Ranges in West Auckland. The hotel offers 26 accommodation rooms including 22 hotel rooms, 2 one bedroom suites and 2 two bedroom suites, conference venues, restaurant dining, high tea service on the weekends as well as relaxing guest facilities such as outdoor pool, day spa, gym and sauna.

We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking individual with great customer service skills to join our busy team. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) working at the hotel reception to deliver an excellent experience for our hotel guests.

This role involves coordinating the daily hotel operations by working closely with other departments in the hotel to ensure daily duties are carried out quickly and efficiently. Duties include welcoming guests to the hotel, answering the switchboard and transferring calls, check-in and check-out of guests, cash handling and daily payments reconciliation.

Strong communication skills and organizational skills are critical to this role. Previous experience working in a hotel reception is preferred.

This role would be 5 days a week with 2 days off and shifts are generally from 7am-3pm (mornings) or 2pm-9pm (evenings) and this role includes working on weekends.  We will pay good rates to the successful candidate based on their experience.
