Hotel Front Office Receptionist Private Advertiser location Sydney.

We are seeking experienced and reliable Staff to join our team. The hotels offer a well located workplace in the heart of Randwick, just minutes from public transport by foot. Daily duties include, but are not limited to providing a welcoming and quality service and experience for our guests to enjoy, checking guests in and out as required.

Managing and confirming guest accounts, ensuring all data is accurate and posted in the system as necessary. Taking and entering reservations into the operating system. Answering guest queries in a positive, timely and efficient manner, liaising with other departments as necessary, and ensuring service provided to guests is to hotel standards.

Managing the daily reconciliation of the hotel as necessary. Responsible for the efficient running of the hotel during the hours on shift and ensuring an effective handover to the following shift. Ensuring house security, detection of breaches of laws by which the company is governed, handling disruptive guests and ensuring their discreet removal from the property if needed.

The right candidate will have at least 2 years experience in a similar role in the hotel industry. Must be focused, reliable and well organized. Must demonstrate exceptional phone manner, customer service skills and the ability to work under pressure. Will have an eye for details and the ability to pick up systems/procedures in a timely manner.

Will have excellent grooming and presentation standards. Will have success in a similar role and exposure to front office reception and reservations work. Will commit to work mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends and public holidays for 6 months minimum.
