Level 1 & 2 Help Desk Support Synnex location Melbourne, Bayside & South Eastern Suburbs. Salary $31.53 - $32.34 per hour plus super. About the role due to our continuing growth, we are looking for proactive and motivated level 1 and level 2 help desk support officers to join our team on a casual basis, working hours will vary depending on your experience and ability to contribute. Key responsibilities include but not limited to maintain and administer systems, which includes desktops (windows os), microsoft office suite, basic printing and windows server support, resolving incidents and fulfilling all it helpdesk issues within agreed timeframes, maintain and update it assets and knowledge base, management and set up of hardware including desktops, laptops, tablets, phones, mobiles and printers, performing proactive and reactive troubleshooting to identifying potential problems, participate in projects and initiatives to develop the company's it infrastructure, assist our configuration engineers in a range of tasks including pc and other it device rollouts, hardware and software installations, asset tagging, removals, soe imaging and data transfer jobs. About you to be successful in this role, you will require the following experience or qualifications in it support roles, with two years of support experience required, experience supporting microsoft desktop operating systems in an active directory environment, lan and wan network support and administration skills, excellent time management and problem-solving skills with proven troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail and solid ability to follow instructions, a can-do attitude with the ability to work under pressure, ability to prioritise effectively, to multi- task, and to adapt to changing priorities, self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail and ability to follow-up in a timely fashion, adhere to security practices and corporate it policies, technical knowledge required. Network TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi. Operating systems windows server 2008 and above, windows xp, 7, 8, 10. Servers Microsoft Windows Server. Applications Microsoft Office Suite.
