Our new Rolleston Health Hub is an exciting addition to our network, providing a unique opportunity to lead the development of modern, patient-centred primary care services encompassing General Practice.

Phoenix Health Hub serves as the general practice division of Phoenix Healthcare Group with a team of experienced practitioners ready to deliver primary healthcare services at our conveniently located clinics, clients can receive comprehensive care either as enrolled or casual patients.

Unique role with an opportunity to shape an entirely new clinic with potential to provide extended hours and acute care in the future. 0.6FTE To 1.0FTE – negotiable for the right candidate.

Start April 2025. Help design a new suite of primary care services whilst leading the Rolleston based business to success and ensuring day to day operations run smoothly. Your leadership will be pivotal to the development of this modern and highly anticipated GP practice.

Supported by senior manager, medical director and head office based team.

Key responsibilities team leadership motivate and inspire your team to achieve great outcomes for the community, provide support and direction where required ensuring strong clinical governance and leadership is supported.

Human Resources Manage diaries and caseloads of the clinical team in conjunction with the Medical Director, oversee day-to-day clinic operations, provide staff leadership, handle all customer inquiries, oversee recruitment and selection of clinical and non-clinical staff in conjunction with relevant clinical leads.

Operations Management Manage stocktakes, order supplies, oversee online shop stock and dispatch management, problem solving, strategic thinking and leading by example. General Administration & Office Management landlord relations, organise functions, liaise with ACC, ensure appropriate policies and procedures are in place, follow up on rejected/unpaid claims, and manage banking.

Service design and community collaboration build relationships with local community and design health services using stakeholder feedback for future development. Quality Assurance work with clinical leads and quality leads to ensure highest possible standard of care is provided and all auditing requirements are met.

Project Management manage continuous improvement projects as required, ensuring progress against objectives and aims. Invoicing & Reporting ACC, product, contractor and customer invoicing, and clinician reports through the practice management software. Operational performance reporting. Xero Accounting Handle invoicing, billing, reconciliations, statements, payroll, and reporting using Xero.

Preferred Candidate attributes experienced in healthcare leadership or practice management. Thrives under pressure, shows initiative, and has excellent problem-solving skills.

Strong team leader with a commitment to patient care and clinical excellence. Competent with IT troubleshooting and financial management systems such as Xero. Inclusive and community-focused, ready to make a meaningful difference.
