About Our Partner organisation health First Specialists is a group of senior clinicians with the shared goal of forming a corporate group to provide health service in Honiara. The service would offer an alternative to the government run National Referral Hospital and would provide tertiary health service that contribute to the National Development Strategy.

What You’ll do as a VSA Volunteer, you'll immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of the Solomon Islands, aiding the group to determine whether their proposal will be feasible or not.

You will complete a prefeasibility analysis to assess the demand for services and the associated revenue and costs. A positive outcome of this study would lead to the development of a detailed feasibility study for a private specialist healthcare centre.

Your Skills and experiences relevant qualification and experience in health economics, hospital planning and hospital management and/or experience with feasibility studies for healthcare or construction projects.
