The Opportunity Orygen is currently seeking applications for a full time Health Service Receptionist at headspace Werribee. An exciting opportunity to join a supportive and multidisciplinary team, making a difference to young people.

The role and your impact full-time fixed term position available until 30 June 2022, with potential for further employment. As the Health Service Receptionist, you will provide operational support to the Practice Manager of the headspace centre to ensure the effective delivery of all administrative functions. Your ability to communicate warmly and professionally, in a friendly manner, is essential when welcoming and assisting young people, their families and friends, with enquiries and appointments, and responding to all enquiries.

This role will be integral to the overall functioning at your located headspace centre and to the delivery of mental health and well-being services to young people and their families and carers. Functions for this role will include reception, maintaining appointment systems, billing and medical records, other database management and application of Microsoft Office tools.

About you essential to this role is that you will have a demonstrated ability to communicate warmly and effectively with young people, their families and a diverse range of health and community service providers. You are passionate, energetic and determined to make a difference to health outcomes for young people.

In addition, you will need demonstrated ability to provide a high standard of confidential reception and administrative services, including a high level of word processing skills. Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, relevant administrative/clerical procedures, including software applications and filing systems. Ability to operate with minimal supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Understanding of contemporary human resources practices including workplace health and safety, equal opportunity and antidiscrimination. Salary and benefits a salary of $50,329 p.a. (pro rata) is offered plus superannuation and access to generous NFP salary packaging.
