Position Health, Safety and Wellbeing Systems and Process Advisor. Salary from stream A, Level 5/6 salary from $90,711.66/ year + Super. Location 150 Wembley Road, Logan Central.

People and Culture Branch of Logan City Council is looking for a strategic Health, Safety and Wellbeing Systems and Process Advisor to champion their Health, Safety and Wellbeing Management System to support successful delivery of their program of work.

This is a role where you will actively contribute to providing systematic, innovative and accountable leadership and evidence-based advice to ensure that Council achieves its goals and performance targets in relation to Health, Safety and Wellbeing.

To be considered at level 5 well-developed knowledge of HSW management and compliance requirements across a broad range of strategic and systems contexts and industry sectors in medium to large, complex organisations.

Sound discipline knowledge of current Work Health & Safety and Worker's Compensation and Rehabilitation reporting and record-keeping requirements, arising from legislation, regulations, codes, standards and guidelines. Strong project management and reporting skills.

Sound working knowledge in policy development, systems management and experience delivering strategic H&S outcomes and targets. High level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders and to simplify complex information for the end user.

Ability to analyse data, identify trends and formulate recommendations in conjunction with key stakeholders. Ability to produce customer-centric user instructions in a range of formats. Knowledge of National Self Insurer WHS Audit Tool (highly desirable). Certificate IV Training and Assessment (highly desirable). Certificate IV Project Management (highly desirable). Tertiary qualifications (Degree or Advanced Diploma) in work health and safety, or a related relevant field highly regarded, or significant experience in a similar role.

To be considered at level 6 (in addition to the above criteria) comprehensive knowledge of statutory requirements related to the role. Substantial experience in systems development and implementation with particular focus on reporting and analysis. Highly developed process improvement skills.

Ability to write reports that translate technical information to maximise reader comprehension. Certificate IV Training and Assessment with significant working experience in the development and delivery of training. Tertiary qualifications (Degree or Advanced Diploma) in work health and safety, or a related relevant field, or significant experience in a similar role.

Minimum requirements of the role include demonstrated relevant work experience in a similar role ability to provide satisfactory results for all employment related background checks. C Class drivers licence.
