About the Opportunity

At ASC, transformation is at the heart of how we grow, innovate and deliver for Australia’s submarine enterprise. As Head of Solution Design & Integration, you’ll shape how ASC evolves, leading the design of future-state operating models, processes, and technology frameworks that enable us to scale with purpose.

Working within the Transformation Office, this 2-year fixed term role drives the design of enterprise-wide solutions that connect people, process and technology. You’ll ensure transformation programs align to business strategy, are underpinned by strong analysis, and deliver measurable benefits across ASC’s growing portfolio of complex projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design of integrated transformation solutions that align with ASC’s strategic objectives.
Translate strategic goals into actionable operating models that balance long-term vision with practical delivery.
Ensure interoperability across systems, processes and data while managing integration risks early in the design lifecycle.
Drive benefit-realisation planning and tracking for all transformation programs.
Partner with senior leaders to co-design frameworks that are scalable, cohesive and outcomes-focused.
Provide governance, guidance and alignment between business needs and execution.
Lead and coach a high-performing team to deliver consistent, high-impact results across the enterprise.

About you

10+ years’ experience in transformation or strategy design within large-scale, complex organisations.
Proven expertise in operating-model design and enterprise architecture.
Strong track record of delivering integrated business, process and technology solutions.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with confidence influencing at executive level.
Collaborative leader with experience building high-performing, multidisciplinary teams.
Analytical, strategic and comfortable operating in high-ambiguity environments.
Experience in Defence or other security-sensitive industries is highly regarded.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
