Head of Service Delivery Public Trust location Auckland.

We are seeking a Head of Service Delivery to lead our North and central North Island trustee teams, delivering growth in line with Public Trust's strategic priorities, purpose and values.

About the role our Head of Service Delivery is a newly established role responsible for the North and Central North Island geographical area comprising 10-15 customer centres and appointment-only sites, responsible for delivering growth and consistently high levels of business performance. You will provide strategic direction to transform our current customer centre teams (who are already pretty great!) into high performing teams. You will guide, mentor and coach the leadership to build financial capability, manage talent, increase employee and customer engagement, while fostering commitment to our values and strategic priorities.

You will be accountable for delivering to an agreed business plan, guiding and mentoring the team and role modeling and championing change programmes as well as Public Trust's purpose and values. You will own the revenue lifecycle of the geographical area, including managing revenue growth, reducing write-offs and increasing profitability while identifying and enabling business development opportunities. We're flexible with the location of the successful candidate within the North and Central North Island geographical area.

Who we're looking for the ideal candidate will have acquired life skills which will enable them to be relatable to our people during BAU or in emotionally challenging situations (often our customers are going through one of the toughest times of their lives). You will enable our people to thrive, while growing and developing our customer and work base.

In addition a strong technical aptitude and attention to detail will be important in picking up and managing the legal and technical elements of this role. Able to influence through candid conversations with a range of stakeholders, both in person and in writing.

Experience leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximise profitability. Experience coaching a leadership team, setting performance objectives, evaluating and optimising operation performance. Experience managing in a highly compliance driven environment, ensuring regulatory and company standards are upheld.
