Greenhithe Youth Worker Greenhithe Community Trust location Auckland.

Greenhithe Community Trust is seeking an independent contractor to join the Trust team working with local high school aged youth and focusing on creating fun events and healthy workshops to assist the health and wellbeing of local youth. It is not a counselling role.

This is a part time opportunity 15 to 20 hours per week, with more or less hours negotiable. There is also a possibility of joining 24/7 Youth Work at the local high school. And/or joining another local organisation to make this a full time role.

It is mostly based at 12 Greenhithe Road which is a community hub shared by Greenhithe Community Trust, Shore Grace Church, other community groups and health professionals.

The role will involve working with a team to facilitate fun events and educational workshops on various themes. The Lounge drop-in centre during the school term from after school til 6pm 1 or 2 afternoons a week. Building on connections with various local youth organisations – school, sports teams, clubs.
