Due to an upcoming engagement with a public sector client, we are seeking expressions of interest from individuals interested in casual contract work, for intermittent periods ranging from four to sixteen weeks.

In this role, you will undertake grant assessments using assessment criteria, tools and guidelines. Engage with grant applicants where further clarification of details is required to make an informed assessment. Prepare accurate and concise reports. Prepare high quality grant agreements, using grant agreement templates. Review progress reports and prepare reports on the adherence to the grant agreement. Escalate complex issues. Identify and escalate opportunities for improvement.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a ‘can do’ positive attitude with an ability to build effective and collaborative working relationships,

Sound judgement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Availability to work between 10 and 38 hours per week. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. A strong customer service mindset. A willingness to learn and develop new skills. Experience in grant assessment or in similar public sector positions highly desirable though not essential.
