KAEFER Integrated Services are currently looking for a Graduate Engineer to be based at our offices in Adelaide, SA
Key responsibilities develop an understanding of and assist with producing estimated costs of materials, labour and preliminaries, project schedules and manpower schedules for inclusion in tender documentation using programmed and formulated programs. Liaise with clients regarding alternatives for the services requested to meet project objectives.
Understand technical, contractual and commercial compliance requirements with regards to contract tenders. Assist with the preparation of risk analysis documentation. Upon award of successful tenders, assist with the preparation and handover of documentation to project staff. Develop an understanding of project control, planning and scheduling.
Manage procurement requirements for new and existing works. Participate in the system of audit and continuous improvement of KAEFER’s Estimating systems in line with organisational requirements. Maintain effective communications and rapport with internal and external customers. Understanding the intent and function of the quality management system.
Implementing and working to the business management system procedures and work instructions. Assist in the control and coordination of execution of scopes of work. Review the PQP and other project specific procedures or work instructions. Ensure compliance to applicable safety and health standards for the project.
Maintain and archive files. Archival of project files. Preparation of work schedules. Preparation of material requisitions. Issue of drawings to workshop and maintain drawing register. Assist in preparation of budget estimates
About you degree in Mechanical Engineering. Proficient in the use of computer-based software, particularly the 2010 Microsoft Office Package.
