Governess Comiskey Transport and Earthmoving Pty Ltd location Western. $25 – $30 per hour.

We are a family of 5 looking for our next governess/nanny to start in January 2024 with the possibility to start November 2023. Our family live and operate a cattle station as well as a contract machinery operation 70km east of the small town of Alpha QLD.

This position is both an educator and nanny position, with after school care included. The main responsibility being the supervision of schoolwork through Capricornia School of Distance Education for a year 5 girl, prep boy and shared care of our 3 year old daughter.

Previous teaching/governess experience is preferred but not essential if you have a genuine love of children and their education. This position is minimum 40 hours a week and includes self contained accommodation, power & wifi. We are keen campdrafters and enjoy travelling to these events if the season and work commitments permit, the right candidate is welcome to accompany us although generally this position is from Monday to Friday.
