General Nursery Hand Paradise Nurseries location Gosford and Central Coast.

We are looking for responsible, self-motivated Nursery Hands to join our Production Team in General Duties. Certificate 3 in Horticulture or plant knowledge an advantage but not essential – training is provided. If you have relevant production nursery or landscape industry experience working with plants or similar role, please forward your resume.

Key responsibilities selecting and picking plants for orders. Preparing plants for dispatch. Pruning, staking, fertilizing and weeding plants. Cleaning and blocking Nursery Beds. Assist with irrigation, spraying and deliveries.

Key attributes be fit and healthy (this is a physically demanding role). Willing to work as part of an all-weathers, outdoor Team environment. Follows directions easily. Good verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated with initiative to take action. Eye for detail with plant maintenance and presentation. Plant knowledge and experience with nursery machinery an advantage. Own vehicle and drivers licence essential.
