We have got an exciting opportunity for General Manger, Higher Education Quality (GMHEQ) to be part of our team at the Institutes of Higher Education (IHEs) namely APIC, HELI and CHS in our Parramatta Campus.

Asia Pacific International College (APIC), Higher Education Leadership Institute (HELI) and the College of Health Sciences (CHS) provide awards from diploma to Master degrees in areas such as business, project management, IT, higher education learning and teaching focusing on eLearning, and health management.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and submission of all TEQSA related documentation.
Design, schedule, manage, and implement Division-wide quality control and enhancement plans, frameworks, reviews and associated improvements (internal and external).
Provide advice to the CEO and the governing bodies on regulatory requirements. .
Plan and manage internal and external reviews/ audits.
Manage risk management with the Executive management.
Generate and/or coordinate the development of performance reports against quality indicators and oversee benchmarking initiatives with peer institutions.
Participate in the planning and development of courses of study for review and/or accreditation as appropriate to the quality needs of the Division.
Collaborate and consult with Division stakeholders regarding quality control and quality enhancement processes.
Coordinate administrative support for governance bodies and committees.
Perform other Division related duties as required by the CEO.
As the successful candidate you will ideally have:

Knowledge and understanding of the Higher Education Standards Framework (2021) and the ESOS Act.
Demonstrated record of quality management and experience in private higher education providers.
Demonstrated level of managerial achievement and knowledge of professional and industry standards in higher education quality enhancement.
Engagement with TEQSA and professional accrediting organisations.
Management skills and the ability to engender trust, respect, and credibility.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skills, and the ability to transfer complex information clearly and succinctly.
Well-developed written communication skills including the ability to draft, proofread and provide editorial advice on a wide range of documents.
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with a diverse range of both internal and external constituencies.
Knowledge of data collection techniques, the ability to investigate and analyse information, to draw conclusions and make evaluative judgments, and to write reports on findings for decision-making purposes.
Demonstrated ability to provide a high standard of support to decision makers including the recording of minutes with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy when required.
Knowledge of academic and operational quality practices, policies and procedures and their application within a tertiary educational environment.
Knowledge and application of accreditation/registration/certification requirements and related standards.
Ability to develop and present educational workshops or seminars related to continuous quality improvement and enhancement.
