About the role reporting to our Group CEO, the General Manager - Orchards at Baygold is responsible for all orchard operations across the group. Currently managing hundreds of hectares of G3 gold kiwifruit orchards and with strategic goal of 1000 canopy hectares, this is a big role.

We have a strong team across all aspects of orchard management for you to lead and grow. Our properties, all in the Bay of Plenty are well positioned and developed to be the highest performing orchards in the world. You’ll be responsible for the productive outcomes of some incredible, large scale properties. You will be across strategic planning, operational delivery, liasing with key clients and leading the team.

Some of your specific responsibilities will be ensuring operational excellence by maximising returns and achieving the best outcomes for orchards and fruit production. Building stakeholder and client relationships in line with the strategic direction and operational plans. Strategic planning and innovative thinking to push the business further toward achieving its purpose. Leading a positive culture and building excellence within the team. Leading a culture of health and safety excellence
