General Manager Marlborough Lines Stadium location Marlborough.

The Marlborough Stadium Trust was established over 20 years ago and is responsible for one of the region’s most significant recreational assets. The Trusts business requires a strong commercial focus in achieving community outcomes and covers a wide range of activities within Aquatics, Stadium, Squash, Gym and Social environs.

We are looking for an outstanding ‘hands on manager’ to operate this award winning facility and manage our outstanding team. We have an experienced and well-structured staff team of around 70 full and part time staff for whom we require collegial management. The role reports to the Trust and provides operational leadership to the organisation, contributing to and executing the Trusts business strategy and driving operational and financial performance.

This is a role for an experienced manager, who will work operationally alongside their team at all levels. You will need to be happy to ‘roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty’ whilst maintaining a ‘budget and business plan focus.’ This is a Full Time position, however appointment to a part time role may be considered by the Trust. The role is salaried and reflects a Senior Leadership role in the industry.  Considerable initiative and vision is core to the role and tasks are expected to be fully completed without supervision and at times, outside of core hours of work. Significant flexibility in working hours is a core requirement of this role.
