This progressive Australian SME utilises the latest manufacturing processes to provide high quality products to a variety of key accounts in multiple sales channels. The organisation also has substantial resources invested in expanding their manufacturing plant operations to meet the needs of their growing customer base.

This exceptional role requires a commercially astute General Manager to join the senior executive team and be responsible for the successful leadership and management of the private business in accordance with strategic and budgetary targets. Key functions of the role will include operations, human resources, marketing, IT and financial performance.

Managing the business activities your aim will be to develop and drive new lines of revenue and to achieve increased efficiency to maximise growth opportunities. The requirements to facilitate these goals include developing and implementing a strategic change program to ensure quality, customer, team and employee development initiatives are achieved and maintained. This role will also review and implement changes in IT systems, procedures and processes to optimise profitability and introduce improved measurement systems to provide foundation for management decision-making and visibility of performance.

You are a natural leader with the ability and experience to understand and manage the financial drivers of a small to medium sized manufacturing orientated business. To be successful you will need to develop a close working relationships with the CEO and manage the business day to day. Chinese language both spoken and written are preferred in this role.
