Full-time Physiotherapist About Faces Physiotherapy and Golf Works location Auckland. $85,000 – $110,000 per year.
Permanent Full-time Physiotherapist (Part-time also a possibility for the right candidate). Auckland (Ellerslie), New Zealand.
About Faces Physiotherapy was established 20 years ago and is a small, niche clinic known for our expertise and vast experience in treating pain and dysfunction in the head and neck areas including TMJ Disorders, neck pain/dysfunction, headache, migraine, facial palsies and neuralgias. We also see some patients with BPPV and concussion.
You will be joining Nikki Tse, Principal Physiotherapist, with more than 25 years experience in Private Practice, a Masters qualification in manual therapy, a post-graduate diploma in acupuncture and who also teaches dry needling and acupuncture and well as TMD courses. Although we would prefer someone full-time, we would consider part-time (25 hours minimum) for the right person.
As many of the patients have complex problems, we have generous appointment times (1hr Initial & 30min follow-ups). Our reputation for addressing the cause of the problem, by combining our knowledge of motor/movement control, muscle balance, acupuncture and dry needling, soft tissue techniques and manual/manipulative therapy in order to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. This means that the clinic although small, it is very busy and patients travel to see us from all over Auckland as well as travelling from outside of Auckland and occasionally from overseas.
The person we are looking for ideally you have a passion for, and experience in, treating necks/shoulders/headaches/TMJ disorders as this is your predominant case load. You have dry needling/acupuncture and manual therapy skills. You are someone who can take initiative, works well autonomously and as part of a team and has excellent problem-solving skills.
You can hit the ground running; you have the drive to grow and learn professionally and see the job as more than just a place to earn money. You have a minimum of 5 years experience and a proven track record of building and sustaining busy caseloads and you go above and beyond to deliver WOW experiences to your patients for the best possible outcomes.
You already have NZ Physiotherapy Board Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate and preferably NZ Residency (although we are a registered Accredited Employer with Immigration NZ and for the right candidate would consider a work to residence/straight to residence Visa)
We provide a competitive remuneration package based on skills and experience. Financial incentives for meeting KPIs. $1500 towards CPD costs. Ongoing in-services and training. For the right person, the possibility of assisting in a paid role on teaching courses.
