FTVNM School Officer Marist College Ashgrove location Brisbane. Marist College Ashgrove is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12, situated in Brisbane's inner Northern suburbs. The College has a vacancy for an FTVNM School Officer commencing in Term 1, 2020. This is a term-time, part-time, continuing position. The position is classified as a Level 4 School Officer position ($29.9316 p/h) and is for 15 hours/week with additional hours as necessary to support the Video Technician. Essential selection criteria applicants must have a blue card (working with children) or be eligible to apply for a blue card, relevant experience and qualifications in the area of film and media, the ability to prioritise tasks and follow direction, excellent attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, commitment to the catholic and marist ethos of the college. The ideal applicant will be required to run tutorials on how the use relevant programs/equipment, catering to different age groups, soe image configuration and deployment of both pc and mac, teach students to operate and adobe cc suite and final cut pro 7 software & train and supervise students in camera operation and audio recording (studio and location), maintain all technical aspects of the media department including camera, lighting and audio equipment and studio facilities, operate and maintain servicing on sony nxr-nx5 and dslr technologies for use in studio and on location production, manage and distribute student equipment bookings, edit promotional material using final cut pro 7/adobe cc suite software, record, dub and catalogue tape and solid state rushes and student productions, provide industry relevance and advice for teachers in the implementation of production in curriculum, other duties as requested by the co-ordinator of ftvnm, asist the video technician with projects and tasks as required (additional hours), applicants should address the criteria above in their application, the college reserves the right to interview and employ a successful candidate before the closing date.
