Front Office and Guest Services Co-ordinator Private Advertiser location Mackay and Coalfields. Salary $55,000 - $64,999.
Leichhardt Accommodation Village is a well established mining camp facility in the Bowen Basin. In the town centre of Moranbah, our facilities are sought after, as such we have ongoing contracts with key mining companies. With a focus on guest services and safety, being part of our front office team is a key role. As such the position requires a person who can demonstrate the following skills excellent people skills being helpful to guests and all other visitors to our village.
High level administration skills across all office functions. Problem solving skills - looking for solutions -thinking on your feet as part of a team. Attention to detail particularly with managing data entry, room bookings, excel functions. Prioritise and be able to juggle multiple tasks. Comprehensive understanding of a hotel/motel operation would be very advantageous eg. RMS.
In Guest Services no job is too small, Everyone pitches in to assist the guest or another team member so the facility runs smoothly and safely. It is dependent on the successful person being a positive team player. Ideally this role will be for someone who has previous hotel/motel front desk experience or high end customer service/admin skills.
Is Local to Moranbah or willing to travel on a flexible roster. Can learn quickly across admin, and work closely with housekeeping & maintenance teams. Be willing, if not already obtained, a National Police Clearance Certificate. Flexible, team-orientated approach with strong communications skills. Ideally this role will begin in the next 4 weeks and will work a full time roster of either 4 or 5 days a week approximately 11am to 8pm Mon -Thurs. As our office is open 6am to 8pm the ability to learn the full role and assist with mornings when requested would be preferable.
