Foreman Carpenter ACL Group Holdings Ltd location Hawkes Bay.

You will be leading a site based team and will co-ordinate construction activities for the delivery of buildings to agreed standards, within the required budget and timelines

Responsibilities will include ensure quality workmanship. Oversee site presentation. Time management for the project, setting and driving targets for the team. Programme delivery, co-ordinating with project management. Management and escalation of problems / issues. Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements. Manage health and safety needs on site.

The role will suit someone with the following background / experience / qualities working in a leading hand position for 2+ years. Excellent communication skills. Understanding of and ability to assess building structural integrity and weather tightness detailing in * accordance with current building requirements. An understanding of relevant regulatory requirements including construction, health and safety and employment. Experience in managing and supervising staff and subcontractors. Good problem solving ability. A sense of humour.
