Your Next Opportunity

We’re on the lookout for a Chef to join our team at our Nambucca Heads V-Wall Pavilion site.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you’ll play a key role in creating delicious meals that fuel great experiences for our guests and residents — all while being part of a fun and supportive team!

In this Role, You’ll

Food Preparation & Service: Support daily kitchen operations by preparing high-quality meals, following Chef instructions, and maintaining presentation standards.
Stock & Ordering: Manage food ordering, receiving, and rotation to ensure freshness, proper storage, and compliance with safety standards.
Cleaning & Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment, ensuring hygiene and sanitation procedures are followed at all times.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Head and Sous Chef, contribute to a positive team environment, and support continuous improvement.
Workplace Safety: Follow WHS policies, report hazards, and use chemicals and equipment safely in line with training and safety data sheets.

You’re Likely a Match If You

Qualified & Safety-Focused: Holds chef qualifications, HACCP knowledge, and accredited food safety training.
Experienced & Professional: Brings previous experience in a similar role, with strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
Financially Savvy: Demonstrates proven ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
Physically Capable: Comfortable with lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and operating kitchen equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Safety & Hygiene Conscious: Follows WHS procedures, uses PPE appropriately, and maintains high standards of cleanliness and food safety. You’re someone who brings energy, ideas, and a genuine passion for making a difference. You love working with people, solving problems, and creating moments that matter.
