Food and Beverage Attendant Waitakere Resort and Spa location Auckland. $20 - $24.99 per hour.

Waitakere Resort & Spa is a locally owned boutique hotel in the Waitakere Ranges in West Auckland. The hotel offers accommodation, conference venues, restaurant dining, high tea service on the weekends as well as relaxing guest facilities such as outdoor pool, day spa, gym and sauna.

The hotel offers a variety of dining options including breakfast, lunch, dinner, high tea, room service as well as conference and function dining, both a la carte and buffet.  We are looking for an outgoing and passionate person to join our busy Food & Beverage team working in the restaurant and conference department.

Responsibilities include serving guests for a la carte breakfast and dinner service as well as serving morning teas and lunches for conference groups during the week and lunch and high tea service on the weekends.

This is a full-time position (minimum 30 hours per week - usually more). The role would be 5 days a week with 2 days off. Shifts may vary from week to week depending on the needs of the business.

The successful applicant will be an outgoing and enthusiastic person with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Must have the ability to work well independently as well as in a team and must be available to work most weekends.

Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. If you are keen to work in a busy environment with a great team then this is the role for you. Key qualities we're looking for previous experience delivering excellent customer service in a hotel restaurant environment preferred.

Outgoing personality. Positive, can-do attitude. Proven barista skills preferred but not essential. Previous experience in a hotel restaurant preferred. General Manager's certificate preferred but not essential. Available to work most weekends.
