Waiting/Floor Staff, Brookfield General Store & café established in 1871, the historic Brookfield General Store & Cafe is located within the iconic Brookfield Showgrounds precinct. The ‘Brooky Shop’ proudly services the local community and beyond.

A renovation has just been completed, and now we embark on a ‘new beginning’ with a new look and new experience for our customers. We play an important role in the local community, and we don’t take this lightly. Our customers are our family.

The Brooky Shop has three main offerings – a grocery section, a café and a licensed outdoor restaurant. We are seeking floor staff (casual and full-time) to help take the Brookfield General Store to the next level in terms of customer experience. This role will report to the Manager. Barista experience is preferred, but not essential.

Expectations of the role comfortable in a fast-paced team environment. Thrives under pressure. Must love food and people. Available weekends and nights (10pm finish on Friday/Saturday). Must be able to interact well with customers. Eager to learn new skills. Tasks & responsibilities all rounder who is happy to help wherever they are needed. Be positive, and most importantly.
