Fitness Consultant Be Active Fitness location Waikato.

Be Active Fitness is seeking a casual gym fitness consultant. This position includes gym sales, general duties and personal training of our members. This role is approximately 16+ hours a week. The role is an evening role, however on occasion, some flexibility is required to cover infrequent weekend and morning shifts.

Hours include Monday and Tuesday: 5:30pm-8:30pm. Wednesday and Friday: 3:30pm-8:30pm. This role will be in sole charge of a busy gym during shifts.

During these shifts, tasks include managing gym membership sales including Membership Tours and Sign-ups. Personal Training our members on our BeTrained programs and Promotional PTs. Gym Reception – Phone calls, emails and helping members. Small Group Fitness Classes (Regular HIIT Classes and Bootcamps and occasional cover for other staff from time to time). Gym Cleaning during shift. Membership Management (Renewals, Defaults, Queries).

To be considered for this role you must be excellent at Sales and/or have experience at making sales to a diverse range of people. Be great at taking membership tours and helping new members join (meaning you can connect/relate to future member's reasons for wanting to join). Be qualified as a personal trainer OR be part way through your training as a personal trainer. We will also consider people that are not qualified but that have significant experience in personal training (REPs membership is not required).

Take small group fitness classes (typically 8 members or less).  Typically circuit, instructor led and bootcamps. Genuinely be able to multi-task. Be Active Fitness is a full service gym (incl. classes/bootcamps/personal training) in south Hamilton.
