First Aid and Administration New Plymouth Girls' High School location Taranaki.

Student Services – First Aid and Administration. Permanent, part-time, 32.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm, term time only. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a First Aider and Administrator to join our Student Services team.

As an administrator, you will provide support to students and staff with stationery requirements, leave passes, and general administrative duties. As a school first aider you will provide first aid care to our students/staff if they are injured or become unwell during the school day, deciding on the appropriate course of action.

Key attributes sound time management and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Clear communicator who has an adaptable, professional manner. Friendly, approachable and empathetic. Remaining calm and professional when dealing with varied medical situations and be able to respond appropriately and promptly.

Strong attention to detail, maintaining accurate records. Knowledge and experience of databases and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. Current first aid training is advantageous but not compulsory as we will ensure the successful applicant is trained to required levels. A commitment to ongoing certification is required. You will need to demonstrate a commitment to health and safety and enjoy working with young people.
