About The role the Finance team are results oriented and deliver a range of financial advice and support. Access to specialist financial expertise enables managers to make informed decisions and continually improve business performance aligned to the Businesses’ strategic direction.

The Financial Controller is responsible for providing financial information, tools, analysis and insight to support business units to make more informed decisions and to drive business strategy. Develop budgets with key stakeholders. Lodgment of compliant tax returns, FBT, PAYG and BAS returns. Deliver performance reporting and annual budget analysis.

Prepare quarterly and year end statutory reports. Review and approve payroll, monthly, fortnightly and weekly. Manage all external financial relationships such as Banks and Auditors. Preparation and management of weekly and monthly cash flow requirement. The Financial Controller is responsible for ensuring the business meets all its financial and regulatory compliance reporting requirements.

About the person the ideal Financial Controller will be  looking for a role that will support and be embedded within the business and assist with key decision support.

You will ideally have a background in the following accounting or Commerce degree qualified. CA/CPA qualification. Be proficient across month end, taxation, and AASB reporting. Effective and influential communication skills. Be available to travel to operating locations on an ongoing basis.
