Financial Controller Hays location Sydney. $150k - 170k plus super.

A Western Sydney Multi-Site Manufacturer is seeking a Financial Controller.

Your new company your new company is a manufacturing organisation with a multi-site operation, currently operating at around $50m and growing. The organisation has been in operation over 30 years.

They're a specialist manufacturer with over 600 clients and stable revenue generation. They consistently achieve their budget and are poised to grow between 50% and 70% in the next 3 to 4 years.

Your new role your new role will encompass end to end financial management responsibilities, including the management of 3 transactional team members in AP, AR and Invoicing and the IT specialist. Your role will form part of the Senior Leadership Team and, with the support of the General Manager - Sales & General Manager - Operations, you will provide support and strategic direction to the Managing Director and owners of the business.

You will specifically be responsible for, but not limited to compliance reporting including financial statements, reconciliations, preparation and lodging activity statements for multiple entities. Development of strategic financial analysis and reporting, including management reports. Work with external auditors during the audit process.

Treasury function and cashflow management, including investment strategies. Management of assets including purchasing, financing, appreciation, amortisation and depreciation. Process improvement, system upgrade/implementations and policy improvement. Management of insurance, telecommunications contracts.

Management of supply chain pricing. Analysis of sales data and performance. Improvement of the businesses' use of PowerBi to support Finance, Sales and Operations. Cost Analysis for operations and wider business. Commercial Management, including creating reports and supporting businesses' business's operations.

What you'll need to succeed you'll need to be a CPA or CA qualified candidate with experience in the manufacturing, project or construction sectors. You'll have managed a team previously including non-finance members and reported directly to the owners of the business, and their supporting Senior Leadership Team of which you're a part. Ideally, you will work with very experienced teams of transactional accounting team members and work with them to change processes and make improvements in efficiency.

What you'll get in return you will be a permanent employee and work from their office around Parramatta's outskirts. The business will offer work from home for one day per week with additional flexibility and work from home on an ad hoc basis. The salary on offer is between $150,000 to $170,000 plus superannuation.
