Financial Controller Hunter Campbell Limited location Auckland.

The business one of New Zealand's leading property investment and fund management businesses. Fortunately, they haven't been too negatively impacted by the implications of coid19 and they are still on a strategic pathway of continued growth. Their areas of expertise include property fund structuring, equity raising and property management.

The opportunity supporting an impressive CFO with vast amounts of experience within the property industry, this is a broad end-to-end leadership role which has a team of 6 reporting into it. Not only will you be responsible for the technical accounting deliverables you will also be exposed to commercial negotiations, new transactions and developments as well as structuring new offerings and funds.

Key duties of this position will include management & delivery of all financial & management reporting on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis. Financial & commercial analysis of current & potential funds. Support the CFO with the development of the financial strategy of the business. Assist with the preparation of all financial information for new offerings & transactions. Manage & oversee the year-end audit process. Mentor, lead and coach the team. Lead & drive all continuous improvement projects.

To be considered for this position you must be a fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent) with a strong technical grounding and sound leadership experience. Experience within the property or funds management industries will be highly advantageous but not essential. Along with your technical knowledge, you must be able to support the CFO and business with your commercial acumen providing them with sound financial advice to ensure the business achieves its strategic goals.
