About the role leading a small finance team, you will be responsible for driving process improvement and operational performance by challenging the status quo and identifying and executing on opportunities for greater efficiency of financial compliance activities and quality of management information.  Critically, you will embrace technology and a continuous improvement mindset to drive the development of a highly engaged finance function which is a true enabler of the organisational strategy.  In doing so you will act as the right hand and 2IC to the CFO, engaging and partnering extensively with the senior leadership team.  Critical to the next phase of our transformation will be the building of the shared service finance team as part of a national ERP rollout. Responsibilities statutory reporting and frameworks, support leadership team through m&a opportunities and related acquisition accounting for integration, manage key external relationships including banks, auditors and ato, management of a small finance team, integral driving of systems integration and process improvements, preparation of an appropriate risk management framework, ad-hoc duties as requested. Skills and experience you will be ca / cpa qualified with a background in a large Chartered and / corporate environment. You will be an ambitious Finance Manager / Controller with a desire to grow with an entrepreneurial and exciting business going through positive growth and change. You will have experience managing and developing finance teams, a strong track record of improving processes involving systems as well as providing value add to business operations.
